Breaking News – Lancaster IMA Lunches Have Resumed
Welcome back to “normal!” After a brief (OK, about 1,300 days – Anne Boleyn wasn’t married that long) hiatus, the Lancaster IMA Chapter is delighted to return once again to our monthly lunch meetings at the Eden Resort & Suites.
We’ve all gone through a great deal of change in that 43-month span, and the Chapter is no exception. We lost our long-time Treasurer, Leon Beiler, in 2021. Donnalee Sorensen willingly took up the mantle, only to lose her brave battle with cancer about a year later. She was able, however, to facilitate a gracious and smooth transition to her Paramount Realty colleague Brandon Persinger, who has shouldered that burden for the past year and a quarter.
As was – and is now once again – our pattern, we convene at noon in the Encore Lounge at the Eden for a good lunch and a good catch-up on economic, finance, and accounting matters. We generally finish at 1 PM and walk out with a well-earned hour of CPE and the satisfaction that we’ve resumed yet another component of what might be called normal.
We’re usually slated for the third Wednesday of the month, though we’ll be meeting on October 25 (fourth Wed) and December 13 (second Wed) just to keep everyone on their toes.
More than 140,000 accounting and finance professionals look to IMA to advance their careers.
